Digital transformation · KIT 4.0 Program
Digitize your company and pay up to 50% less
Argentina's KIT 4.0 Program funds technology adoption in small and mid-sized companies. Contarg is an approved provider: we implement the kit and handle the benefit process, so your company pays less for the project.
In one line
KIT 4.0 covers up to 50% of the eligible net amount of a digitization project. Your company contracts the kit at full price, and the program benefit cancels a portion of that net amount. To qualify you need a valid MiPyME certificate, an activity included in the eligible activities list, and no outstanding tax or social security debt.
How it works, with no hidden fine print
01
We choose the kit
We review your operation and define which kit from the official catalog solves your problem: basic, management or advanced. We prepare the itemized proforma the program requires.
02
Your company files the application
The recipient company files the eligibility request through the government portal. We prepare all the technical documentation and walk you through the process.
03
We implement
Once eligibility is approved, the project starts. We work in stages with reviewable deliveries, just like any Contarg project.
04
We report and the benefit applies
When we finish, we file the accounting report. Once the Committee approves it, the benefit is credited to Contarg as the provider and applied to cancel the corresponding portion of your invoice.
What it means in money
This needs to be clear from the start, because it defines what you actually pay:
- The program benefit is credited to Contarg's tax account as the approved provider, and applied as a means of cancelling part of the net amount we invoice you. In practice, your company pays less.
- VAT and other taxes are calculated on the total and remain your company's responsibility. The benefit does not cover them.
- The benefit is subject to approval of the final report. If it isn't approved, fully or partially, that net balance remains your company's responsibility. That's why we only frame projects that qualify.
Benefit caps
| Kit type | Benefit cap |
|---|---|
| Basic and Management kits | ARS 15,000,000 |
| Advanced kits | ARS 20,000,000 |
| Maximum per company (whole call) | ARS 45,000,000 |
Kits are sequential: to start a new one, the previous kit's report must be approved. Two kits cannot run at the same time.
What your company needs to qualify
- A valid MiPyME (SME) certificate.
- An activity included in the program's eligible activities list.
- No outstanding tax or social security debt at the time of filing.
Which kits we implement
Management and administration
Orders, purchasing, stock and production orders. Includes the mixed mode, which integrates the systems your company already uses instead of replacing them.
Shop-floor monitoring and capture
Data born digital on the plant floor: order progress, scrap and hours, with tablets in each area.
Planning and maintenance
Production scheduling based on real capacity, plus preventive and corrective equipment maintenance.
Connectivity and cybersecurity
The foundation everything else sits on: network, access, identity and information safeguarding.
Why do it with Contarg
- We're an approved provider: we can execute the kit and handle the benefit process, not just advise you.
- The kit isn't an island. What we implement integrates with the rest of your operation and can grow later with the Contarg App suite.
- We'll tell you when a project doesn't fit. Filing something that later gets rejected leaves the balance with you.
Frequently asked questions about KIT 4.0
No. Under the program's terms, the benefit is credited to the approved provider's tax account — in this case, Contarg — and applied to cancel a portion of the net amount we invoice you. The effect is that your company pays less, but the credit does not land in your own tax account.
The counterpart of the eligible net amount (up to 50% less, depending on the kit and the caps) plus VAT calculated on the total. VAT and other taxes are not covered by the program.
Any net balance not cancelled remains your company's responsibility. That's why we only frame projects that meet the requirements, and we prepare the documentation carefully.
Yes, but they're sequential: you can only start a new one once the previous kit's report is approved, and the total cap per company is ARS 45,000,000 for the whole call.
It depends on the kit and the agency's timelines. As a reference, between the eligibility request, implementation and final reporting, a full kit takes several months. In the first meeting we give you a realistic timeline for your case.
