No. The platform sits on top of the ERP you already use and adds the shop-floor layer it lacks. Your ERP remains the source of truth for inventory, costs and invoicing; production lives in Contarg and is reflected there automatically.
The module sits on an abstract stock port, and for each ERP a connector is implemented against that port. Before starting we map what your system exposes and design the synchronization. If the ERP is on-premise, connectivity runs through a lightweight agent inside your network, with no inbound ports opened.

The estimated cost is frozen as the plan when the order is created. On close it's compared against real material consumption, hours actually logged on the floor and overhead applied by cost center. The result is the variance report, broken down by cause.
